The IBEW Local 96 highly skilled electrical workforce meets the challenges of today’s ever-changing construction industry. Our apprenticeship and continuing education programs ensure Local 96 electricians are up-to-date with new and evolving technologies and NEC and OSHA safety requirements. They meet the most demanding electrical construction projects safely, efficiently, and with the quality that meets the highest industry standards.

IBEW Local 96 started over one hundred years ago, when electrical workers determined the best way to increase wages, conditions, and benefits, was to join with other workers to have a more powerful unified voice and insure that their demands were met.

Today, the same holds true, when workers unite and organize, they are not “at-will employees” at the mercy of their bosses decisions, they become a union.
